BML’s CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef met with the students and congratulated them on winning the scholarships.

“At BML, we believe in investing in the aspirations of young talented individuals who will shape the future of our nation. These scholarships represent not only an opportunity for personal growth but also a pathway to strengthening the banking and finance industry in the Maldives,” he said.

Since its inception in 2022, the BML Scholarship Fund has supported six students who are currently pursuing their studies in leading institutions across the UK and Australia.

BML said the program underscores the bank’s commitment to fostering talent and building capacity within the Maldives' banking and finance sector.
