Dhiraagu has donated resources to the Special Education Needs (SEN) Unit – Sunshine Class – of the HDh. Atoll Education Cener under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
A special event was held at HDh. Atoll Education Center in Kulhudhuffushi City on Monday to officialize the contribution to the school.
The donations made by Dhiraagu includes automatic and locking chairs to support students with mobility challenges as well as materials for the classroom’s sensory and activity areas to support the students and classroom needs.
“As part of our commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowering all members of our community, we are happy to support the Sunshine Class and its incredible students,” said Mohamed Ali, Assistant Manager Operations of Dhiraagu, Kulhudhuffushi Operations Center.
“We hope that these resources will support the efforts of the school’s educators and caregivers and create opportunities for growth and learning.”
HDh. Atoll Education Center’s Principal, Mohamed Matheen thanked Dhiraagu for the company’s support and contribution to the school’s SEN Unit.
He said the initiative will significantly benefit children with disabilities and aid the school in advancing its goals for inclusive education.
Dhiraagu said it remains committed to serving the community, empowering young people and fostering inclusive communities across the nation.
