Man arrested for stealing electronics from Male’ office

The police have arrested a man believed to have stolen electronics from an office building in Male’ City.

According to the police, the theft took place at an office located on the ground floor of H. Filimaage on Monday morning.

Ismail Saaif, 39, Habeebeehap, R. Alifushi, was arrested the same day, said a police spokesperson.

The police said they recovered two laptops, two iPhones, EarPods and a wristwatch believed to have been stolen from the office.

When presented before the Criminal Court on Tuesday, the court remanded Saaif in custody of the police for 15 days.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
