Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Cooperation (MMPRC) is calling all aspiring Maldivian artists to showcase their creativity and national pride by designing landmarks to be installed in iconic locations in the Maldives with five days left to participate in its Landmark Design Competition.

The landmarks are set to be installed at locations including Velana International Airport, Male’ City, underwater locations and islands outside of Male’ area.

As per the Corporation, the initiative is aimed at showcasing Maldives’ unique charm and local artistic talents in addition to further enhancing the tourist experience while in the nation.

MMPRC has encouraged widespread participation in the competition which is open to all Maldivian citizens that are above the age of 18.

Participants have been invited to express their creativity and their unique sense of national pride by submitting designs for landmarks that embody the essence of the Maldives, reflecting the rich heritage, culture, and stunning natural beauty of that specific region.

Entries for the competition are to be submitted via email to [email protected] before 18:00pm on December 15th. The entries must be submitted with clear dimensions specified in PDF format. Each participant can submit a design for one landmark only.

Each winner is set to receive a cash prize of MVR 20,000 and a gift package courtesy of the competition's sponsors. Moreover, all top 10 designs will be showcased and utilized in MMPRC's marketing activities, with credit to the designers.
