The new land sale announcement on Thursday follows a similar one back in May.

The land sale will be carried out in two phases. In the first phase, interested parties are required to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI). The second phase is the opening of bidding for plots that receive more than one EoI.

Bidding for beachfront plots start at MVR 4,500 and bidding for beachside plots start at MVR 4,000. Interested parties can submit EoIs for more than one plot.
