'Pooshie' expands with e-Tukuri integration

Local business "Pooshie," specializing in retail of children's sticker packs, game boards, and books, is now available in e-Tukuri, Maldives Post's e-commerce platform.

Fathimath Rizfa, owner of Pooshie said she began the business during Covid-19.

"Since I always wanted to this and during Covid I figured it was the right time to begin this," Rizfa said.

Speaking about the small venture's strategic decision to integrate with e-Tukuri, Rizfa said that the e-commerce platform extended the opportunity to her.

Rizfa said that once she learned about the e-commerce platform, she was immediately interested to expand her business.

"I got registered because e-Tukuri is trustworthy and professional, and I pleased with the sales quantity through the platform right now. I achieve my sales targets," she added.

She further said the most significant achievement since e-Tukuri integration is the expansion of Pooshie's customer base from across the Maldives. Rizfa said she has received purchase requests from customers across several atolls already.

The entrepreneur also said that with e-Tukuri, logistical issues are sorted as the Maldives Post couriers the products directly to the customers' locations.

Customers generally receive their products within five to 10 days.

She reiterated her trust in e-Tukuri as it is run by Maldives Post, a state-owned enterprise.

Rizfa further said that the free-registration to e-Tukuri ensures that small businesses or individual entrepreneurs do not face any setbacks.

"e-Tukuri is a convenient platform, and a golden opportunity for small to medium entrepreneurs to expand their businesses," Rizfa added.
