138 recipients of Public Service National Award in 2024

The National Award for Public Service will be given to 138 recipients in 2024, the President's Office said on Tuesday.

The National Award for Public Service nominations were selected by the National Awards Committee appointed by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

President Muizzu recommended a total of 70 individuals who served the state for more than 43 years to the committee.

The awards will be presented during the official Independence Day function, scheduled at the Social Center on Friday, July 26th.

The National Award for Public Service is presented to recognize the competence, integrity and dedication of government employees who served the state for more than 35 years, and made signficant contributions to the development of their respective institutions.
