Air Service Congress: Maldives’ travel industry partners announced

Travel industry partners from the Maldives for the Air Service World Congress set to commence on Tuesday has been announced.

The travel industry partners in this regard are: Aviator Maldives, Maagiri Hotel, Sky Tours Maldives, Villa Travels and Maldives Flight Support.

Additional partners for the conference include:

Resort partners: Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa and SAii Lagoon

Venue partner: Kurumba Maldives

Digital partner: Dhiraagu

Seaplane partner: Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA)

Airline partner: Emirates Airline

Aviation partner: Maldivian

Media partners: Island Chief, Travel Trade Maldives, Hotelier Maldives, The Arrival and Travelusion Media

Endorsement partners: Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) and Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO)

Velana International Airport (VIA), the official host of the event, said the latest preparations for the conference are presently underway.

Air Service World Congress is a platform bringing together representatives from all over the world for discussions about the future of the aviation sector on one platform. They will include over 150 airport and route development executives, airline executives, airline networking planners, aviation suppliers, and representatives from aviation and tourism bodies.

The official activities of the congress will be held at Kurumba Maldives from Tuesday to Thursday and will be followed up by events at Sheraton Maldives and SAii Lagoon at Crossroads Maldives.

This marks the seventh time the congress the congress is being held since its first, in 2010. Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) states the conference will significantly enhance the tourism industry of the Maldives.
