The Health Protection Agency (HPA), in collaboration with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and local NGO Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC), has launched a recipe book packed with nutritious recipes for babies.

The ‘Minheyo Kana’ recipe book was launched in a special ceremony held at the Health Ministry on Thursday by Health Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel. He was joined by UNICEF’s Deputy Representative to Maldives, Isy Faingold Vigil, and top officials from other relevant institutions and NGOs.

The book is part of the social and behavioral change communications strategy drafted by HPA and UNICEF.

It has 30 nutritious recipes for babies for the first 1,000 days of their lives, from six to 23 months.

The e-book version is available on Health Ministry’s website.
