Fire breaks out in Kulhudhuffushi home

A fire broke down in a home in Kulhudhuffushi City on Sunday, resulting in extensive damages to the kitchen, where the fire originated from.

The Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said the fire was reported to the Kulhudhuffushi Fire Station at 10:30 am.

The firefighters put out the fire at 10:40 am.

But while the firefighters managed to put out the fire within 10 minutes, it resulted in massive damages to the home’s kitchen.

Photos shared by the MNDF shows the fire burned the cooker, the kitchen cabinets, and part of the ceiling.

No one was injured in the incident.
