Maldivian first couple leave for Singapore on unofficial visit

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and first Lady Sajidha Mohamed have departed for Singapore on an unofficial visit.

The President’s Office announced in a statement that the first couple left for Singapore on Tuesday night. However, it provided no further details.

The recent visit comes after the first couple travelled to Singapore on March 21. They returned to Male’ after two days, on March 23.

President Muizzu had also made a visit to Singapore in November last year, before he took office. He spent about a week in Singapore during that trip.

President Muizzu had made his first official visit after assuming office to Turkey.
