HDC urges to place campaign posters without disrupting networks

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Tuesday, has advised to place campaign posters without disrupting the networks installed by various service providers.

In its statement, HDC said any damages to cables installed to provide utility and other services would expose the residents to several difficulties.

HDC urged parliamentary election candidates and their teams to practice caution in placing campaign billboards and canvases across Hulhumale'.

The corporation further urged campaign teams to seek HDC's counsel and approval before placing any material.

HDC further said it remains committed to enhance equal opportunities to call election contenders in placing their campaign materials.

Meanwhile, many locals have complained about the difficulties they face due to the placement of some campaign materials across Hulhumale'.
