HDC introduces estate security services to enhance safety

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has launched estate security services to enhance the safety of people residing in Hulhumale’.

The service was launched during the Safer Hulhumale’ event held at Farukolhufushi on Sunday night by HDC Managing Director Brigadier General (Retired) Ali Zuhair.

The uniform and logo of the estate security services were also unveiled during the ceremony.

HDC stated that the primary purpose of introducing estate security services is to ensure the safety of residents and their property to the greatest extent possible.

“Under the program, security services will be further strengthened and upgraded to modern standards. The introduction of estate security services will standardize security services and pave the way for easier monitoring,” HDC detailed.

The Corporation added that security personnel will receive training as part of the program and will be provided with the necessary resources to carry out their duties professionally.

In addition to this, HDC said the development of the security system through technology under the estate security services program will enhance the safety of residents in Hulhumalé. The Corporation described the introduction of the service as a crucial step forward in maintaining peace in Hulhumalé.
