There is a possibility that people who received land from Giraavaru Falhu under the ‘Binveriya’ scheme will be able to choose a plot from Gulhifalhu instead, says President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
On the Q&A platform ‘Raeesge Javaab’, Aminath Leela, a resident of Hulhumale’, asked President Muizzu if it is possible for people awarded land from Giraavaru Falhu to choose Gulhifalhu or Hulhumale’ instead.
President Muizzu said that his administration has not made a decision or formulated a policy regarding that.
“We will determine whether there is enough space in Gulhifalhu to issue land to people who were awarded plots from Guraavaru Falhu. We are working on finalizing the land use plans for both these sites,” he said.
