Water supply to some Male’ areas to be cut off tonight

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) states water supply will be cut off to some areas in Male’ City tonight.

MWSC, in a post on X Friday night, said water supply will be cut off to the respective areas between 11:00pm and 5:00am in order to undertake essential work to upgrade the water system in Male’ City.

The company apologized for any inconveniences customers may face due to the disruption.

Water and electricity services are often cut off to undertake upgrade works after prior notice. Tonight’s impending disruption of water service marks the first in a long time.
