Sun Siyam Vilu Reef plants 130 trees in F. Magoodhoo

130 trees were planted in F. Magoodhoo at an event organized by Sun Siyam Vilu Reef.

Vilureef Family Club Chairman Mohamed Hameed told Sun that the event was held in conjunction with Sun Siyam Care's sustainability events and Vilu Reef Resort's 25th anniversary.

The event started at 10:45 am and ended at 12:30 pm yesterday.

Hameed said that 130 trees have been planted near the Magoodhoo airport.

Hameed said he was pleased to note that the island council members, the school environment club and all of the island's institutions participated in the event.

The event was attended by the management of Vilu Reef and 30 employees of the resort.

In the past, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef has conducted many activities that benefit the public, the environment and society as a whole.
