TfG opens first children’s gym in the Maldives

Total Fitness Group (TfG), a leading fitness organization in the Maldives, has opened a gym dedicated to children in the capital Male’ City on Saturday – the first of its kind in the country

The launching ceremony on Saturday featured fun activities, exciting challenges, and demonstrations of the various programs offered at the gym.

The gym, located on the 5^th floor of Ma. Haivakaruge, is an innovative and state-of-the-art facility that is set to revolutionize how kids engage in physical activities and foster a healthy lifestyle from an early age.

TfG identified the concept behind the facility as to provide a dynamic and safe environment that promotes a healthy lifestyle, fitness, social interaction, and cognitive development.

Th gym is equipped with top-notch amenities, including age-appropriate play areas, agility drills, balance beams, trampolines, interactive games, and more.

“The vision was to facilitate the opportunity exercise alongside a physical education teacher to children from junior, senior kindergarten till eighth grade,” TfG’s CEO Hussain Zinaan told Sun.

He detailed that the gym was designed to accommodate children of all ages. The sessions will be led by trained experts. At the end of each month, children will be individually assessed to identify their progress, which will be shared with their parents.

“The purpose, when planning and developing this gym, was to conduct physical education training sessions which includes the child socially engaging with other children, their coordination, endurance required for growth, aerobic capacity and strength among other things,” Zinaan added.

Children between the ages of 5 to 14 can be enrolled in the gym, where they will each be guaranteed a personalized experience.
