STELCO warns of power interruption in some Male’ areas this afternoon

State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has warned of possible power interruption in some Male’ areas as the company undertakes essential work pertaining to upgrading the city’s electricity view.

The utility company detailed the power interruption is expected between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on Sunday in the following areas;

• Janavanee Magu
• Janavaree Hingun
• Buruzu Magu
• Ameenee Magu
• Raiyvilla Hingun

STELCO said that power will resume in those areas, if cut, as soon as the work is complete.

They apologized to customers for difficulties they may face due to service interruption.
