MVR 1.4M to fix potholes in Boduthakurufaanu Magu

Male’ City Council states it awarded the project to repair the potholes in Boduthakufaanu Magu for MVR 1.4 million.

The project to repair Boduthakurufaanu Magu was awarded to China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) – the company which constructed the highway between Male’ City and Hulhumale’, last Friday.

CCCC is tasked with repairing 32 potholes on the road.

Male’ City Mayor Dr. Mohamed Muizzu told Sun the project will be complete within 10 days.

Muizzu said CCCC will not only fix the potholes, but also do additional repair work on the road.

Some believe the potholes in Boduthakurufaanu Magu resulted due to heavy-load vehicles. Many residents of Male’ have taken to social media to complain over the potholes.
