Temporary halt to issuance of vehicle license

Transport Ministry has temporary halted the issuance of license for vehicles as they work on migrating data to a new digital software.

According to State Minister for Transport Ali Solih, the migration will continue until February 4.

“We are taking the time to migrate to a new digital software. After that, ID cards will be available digitally,” he said.

While license issuance has been temporarily halted, licenses that expire during the period can be used until February 14.

The new software will allow drivers to use digital licenses.
