Villa Education Services and Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has signed an agreement to develop a private school in Hulhumale’ Phase I.
The agreement was signed by Villa College’s Rector Ahmed Anwar and HDC’s Managing Director Ahmed Athif on Sunday.
According to HDC, the six-story school will have 20 classrooms to accommodate up to 761 students from grades 1-12.
The school will also have facilities for children with disabilities and a robotic lab for enhanced learning experience.
HDC said the school will create around 100 employment opportunities in administrative and academic areas.
HDC recently signed agreements with Education Ministry and Islanders Education to develop five schools in Hulhumale’ Phase II; four public schools and one private school.
