MACL meets with airlines that operate flights to INIA

The company responsible for managing Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA), Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), has met with the airlines that operate flights to the airport.

MACL said that following the handover of the airport to MACL by the government, they met with the airlines that operate to INIA as part of their responsibilities of managing the airport.

MACL said that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss various issues with airline operators.

This is the second meeting held in this regard between MACL and airline operators. The first meeting was held on 2 December.

Management of INIA was transferred from GMR to MACL on 7 December. The government has said that several efforts will be made to strengthen MACL.
