13 arrests made in counter-terrorism operation

In a joint operation conducted by Maldivs Police Services and Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), 13 have been arrested. 

According to the Media Official of Police, so far in the operation, nine arrests were made in Addu City, two from Male' City and two more from K.Guraidhoo. 

All of them are Maldivin man, revealed Police.

In addition to this, Police said that the operation is being conducted on the water of Male' and Addu City area. 

Police did not disclose any further details permaining to this operation. 

Sun has come to know that a house in Addu City's Hithadhoo was searched in connection to this. Numerous officicers from bomb squad and SO participated.
