Dhiraagu signs as digital partner for Mufti Menk’s lectures

Local telecom giant, Dhiraagu, has signed as the digital partner of ‘Mufti Menk in Maldives’ – a lecture series by renowned Islamic scholar from Zimbabwe, Ismail ibn Musa Menk (Mufti Menk), in the Maldives.

Announcing the partnership, Dhiraagu stated that they are committed to support programmes and initiatives that promote Islamic values in the Maldives.

Mufti Menk arrived on his four-day visit to the Maldives on Thursday evening.

He is scheduled to deliver lectures in Male’ City, Fuvahmulah City, and Addu City. He will also be delivering the sermon and leading the Friday prayer at the Islamic Centre tomorrow. The sermon will be delivered on the topic ‘Revive Your Connection with Allah’.

On October 28, he will lecture at the Alimas Carnival in Male’; on October 29, he will lecture at the football stadium in Fuvahmulah City; and on October 30, he will lecture at the Synthetic Track in Hulhumale’ and the City Square in Addu.

This is Mufti Menk’s fourth visit to the Maldives. Previously, he visited the island nation in 2015, 2016 and 2020 – during which he held religious lectures in Male’ City, Kulhudhuffushi City and Addu City.
