Applications open for fully-funded scholarships from Hungary

Applications have opened for 15 fully-funded scholarships to Maldivian students from the Hungarian government.

The scholarships are for Bachelor’s Degree to PhD level courses in engineering, computer science, health, and teaching.

The scholarships cover two-way tickets, tuition, and all additional expenses.

Honorary Consul of Hungary, Mohamed Ali Janah told Sun on Thursday that the scholarships offer a great opportunity for students who wish to pursue their higher education in the fields the program covers.

Applications close on January 16, 2023.

Maldives and Hungary signed an agreement to offer Maldivian students 60 scholarships over the course of four years last year.
