First Lady Fazna makes home visits to elderly residing at Fuvahmulah City

First Lady Fazna Ahmed, on Friday morning, made home visits to the eldest male and female citizens residing in Fuvahmulah City.

She undertook these visits as part of her ongoing trip to Fubahmulah City to partake in the activities held at the city to mark the International Day for Older Persons at a national level. She is accompanied by Gender Minister Aishath Mohamed Didi on this trip.

The First Lady visited two of the eldest senior citizens from the list of ten seniors who are scheduled for visits under the program. During these visits, she inquired about their well-being and spoke with them on a range of topics.

First Lady Fazna attended the official ceremony held to mark the International Day for Older Persons on Thursday, and the closing of the Ground Golf Tournament held to celebrate the day.
