Two injured in accident on Sinamale’ Bridge highway

Two people have been injured and are undergoing treatment following an accident on the Sinamale’ Bridge highway on Saturday.  

In the accident that took place around 20:00, two motorbikes crashed.

As per Maldives Police Service, those injured were taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital for treatment.

“Police are investigating in the area,” said the Police media official.

A video circulating on social media of the accident shows a man being lifted into an ambulance on a stretcher.

So far the extent and details of the injuries sustained are not clear.
