Asim Abdul Sattar has been appointed as the dean of Maldives National University (MNU)’s Faculty of Arts for a second term.
Asim’s reappointment was held in a ceremony at MNU on Monday morning.
Speaking at the ceremony, Asim vowed to improve the quality of courses offered by the Faculty of Arts, and to work in collaboration with all stakeholders.
“I have certain aspirations as a begin my second term. That is to work together with all stakeholders and market the courses,” he said.
Asim has a Master’s in Education. He joined MNU’s Faculty of Education in 2005, and went on to serve as the dean of the faculty.
He was appointed as dean of Faculty of Arts in 2018.
