Male’ City Council has launched ‘Maavehi’, a web portal created under the project to digitalize the Maldivian capital.

The portal was launched by Male’ City Mayor Dr. Mohamed Muizzu in a community meeting Tuesday evening.

Male’ City Council states it offers over 80 services. With the new portal, 90 percent of the services are now available online.

Those who wish to use the portal will need to register using their national ID card number. An OPT is required for each log-in.

The services available via the portal includes services related to birth of children, home registration, road closure requests, rent of parks, and donations to mosques.

The progress of requests can be monitored through the portal’s main services.
