PSM kicks off Covid income support project

Public Service Media (PSM) on Monday opened additional opportunities for its apprentice program under the Covid-19 Income Support Project.

In order to open additional slots for the apprentice program, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economic Affairs and PSM on Monday, May 30.

While State Minister Neeza Imadh signed from the ministry, Managing Director Ali Khalid signed the agreement on behalf of PSM.

The main purpose of this project was to support those negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and provide employment opportunities for them. It was also aimed to train individuals will the skills they need to get employment opportunities and develop skilled professionals.

Apprentice opportunities at PSM under the programme:

-        Assistant Presenter Producer

-        Assistant TV Producer

-        Journalist / Newscaster

Economic Ministry stated that those interested can now send in their applications for the apprenticeship opportunities under the program from the Job Center Portal.
