Azim, Nashiz summoned to Civil Court

Medhu-henveiru MP Ali Azim and Alifushi MP Mohamed Nashiz have been summoned to Civil Court for the trial of the case on non-repayment of a loan taken from Bank of Maldives (BML) by Funaddoo Tuna Products.

Azim and Nashiz are among the guarantors of this loan.

An official of Civil Court said that they have been summoned to Court at 2:45pm tomorrow.

The MPs have failed to comply with a Civil Court verdict issued on 7 February 2010, which has also been backed by High Court, to repay the MVR117 million loan taken by Funaddoo Tuna Products.
