Hiyaa flats’ rent can be paid to HDC head office, or via portal

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) states tenants of the Hiyaa social housing units in Hulhumale’ Phase II can either pay their rent by visiting the corporation’s head office, or online via the MyHulhumale’ Portal.

Tenants of the Hiyaa units were granted a seven-month rent moratorium to complete finishing work on their units. The moratorium period expired in April.

HDC announced on Tuesday that tenants can make rent payments from the collection center in HDC’s head office, or via the MyHulhumale’ Portal.

Tenants can log in to MyHulhumale’ Portal by registering for an eFaas account. Once logged in, tenants can go to the finance portal and select their unit number, the rent amount, the preferred payment model, and make the payment.

Hiyaa tenants are required to make monthly payments of MVR 8,500. It includes MVR 7,500 for rent and an additional MVR 1,000 for maintenance.
