Applications for the Bank of Maldives (BML)’s BML Scholarship Fund is set to close on April 21.
The BML Scholarship Fund was announced late last year, as part of the bank’s community initiatives ahead of its 40th anniversary.
The annual merit-based scholarship scheme will provide fully funded international scholarships for three students in the area of banking and finance in top universities across the world.
BML opened applications for the BML Scholarship Fund in February.
BML states the scheme is aimed at developing talented young Maldivians in the area of banking and finance. Students have the option to select any undergraduate program in banking and finance related area such as financial technology, risk management, financial reporting and analytics, or financial engineering.
Maldivian citizens aged between 18-25 years who completed their A-levels with passes in all subjects are eligible for the scholarships.
The scholarships will cover tuition fees, monthly stipend, visa fees, book and establishment allowance and air tickets.
Interested students have been asked to send their application forms, along with the required supporting documents, to [email protected] by April 21.
Additional information regarding the BML Scholarship Fund, including eligibility and selection criteria, is available on the bank’s website.
