Ramadan 1443: Ihya Forum to begin tonight

The state organized Ihya Forum for this Ramadan is scheduled to begin on Sunday night, with a lecture on the topic “Hurry to Benefit from this Season of Blessings!”.

Islamic Ministry said that the lectures will be delivered by Al-Sheikh Nasrulla Ali and Al-Sheikh Ilyas Hussain.

The forum will be held in Male’ at the Islamic center from 09:30 pm to 10:30 pm every Sunday and Thursday.

And on Fridays, the forum will be held in populous islands outside the capital. The first will be held in Kulhudhuffushi City.

April 8: Kulhudhuffushi City

April 15: Addu City

April 22: Fuvahmulah City

April 29: R. Ungoofaaru

Ihya Forum – a series of Islamic lecture forums held biweekly throughout Ramadan - was introduced in 1980 during former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s administration, and the tradition has been followed by every Maldivian administration which has come to power since.
