Woman hospitalized following accident in Hulhumale’

A woman has been taken to the Hulhumale’ Hospital following an accident in suburban Hulhumale’.

A police spokesperson said the accident was reported to the authorities at approximately 04:25 pm on Sunday.

It involved a female driver who fell from her motorcycle on Kuredhi Magu.

The police spokesperson said the woman was being treated at the Hulhumale’ Hospital.

“Police are looking into the accident,” said the spokesperson.

A spokesperson from Hulhumale’ Hospital identified the victim of the accident as a 29-year-old woman.

A video of the injured woman circulating on social media platforms show the woman bleeding as she lies fallen on the ground.

Police have yet to disclose the extent of her injuries.
