MTCC completes Feevah harbor development project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced the completion of its harbor development project at Sh. Feevah.

As per the company, the project was completed on January 29.

The project was awarded to the company by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. It is valued at MVR 67.6 million.

Under this project, MTCC carried out dredging of 40,420 cubic meter harbor basin; dredging of 14,743 cubic meter channel area; construction of 474-meter quay wall; construction of a 356-meter breakwater; installing 182-meter revetment; constructing 27-meters of groyne and installation of 2,320sqm of paved area.

In addition to this, MTCC also carried out the installation of navigation lights and floating light buoys along the harbor channel.
