Travel Trade Maldives opens nominations for 'TTM Awards 2022'

Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) has opened nominations for one of the most prestigious awards in Maldivian tourism, TTM Awards 2022.

TTM said that although TMM Awards were only given to top producers for the Maldives tourism industry, this year, they have expanded the award categories to introduce 15 new awards to reward and celebrate the excellence in the travel and tourism hospitality industry of the Maldives.

There are a total of 16 award categories in TTM Awards 2022. They are:

1. Top Producers Awards
2. Best Beach Resort
3. Best Wellness Resort
4. Best Honeymoon Destination
5. Best MICE Resort
6. Best Wedding Destination
7. Best Family Resort
8. Best Boutique Resort
9. Best Design Hotel
10. Best Culinary Resort
11. Best City Hotel
12. Best Fun & Friendly Resort
13. Best Emerging Resort
14. Most Innovative Resort
15. Most Sustainable Resort
16. Most Picturesque Resort

TTM said that only its partners will be eligible to apply for the awards. Each report can apply to a maximum of three categories.

Winners are selected through a voting process. The voting process will consist of 25 percent votes from the TTM editorial team, 25 percent vote taken from an expert panel and 50 percent vote taken from the public for all the categories except for the top producer’s award. Top producers award winners will consist of 100% vote from travel trade professionals from hotels and resorts.

The deadline for nomination is March 15, 2022. Applications can be completed through TTM’s website.

TTM Awards 2022 will be held as part of TTM Maldives 2022 – set to take place from August 23 to August 25. The Awards and Gala Night will be held on August 25.
