Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on Sunday handed over the project to dredge to build the Gdh. Thinadhoo Industrial Zone to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company.
During the ceremony held at the Planning Ministry, MTCC was also given the project to protect the coastal areas of Thinadhoo.

The project worth MVR 125 million was handed to be completed within 660 days.
Under the project, an area of 219,595 square feet will be dredged, a 1,804-meter revetment, 284-meter breakwater and one concrete bridge will be built.
The bridge which will connect the industrial zone to the island will have 116.2 meters in length and 9.6meter in width.
