Planning Ministry sign F. Feeali reclamation project with MTCC

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on Sunday officially handed over the reclamation project for F.Feeali to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

A ceremony was held at the Planning Ministry to sign all the paperwork. While the Ministry’s Director General Fathmath Shana represented them, CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed on behalf of the company.

Under this project MTCC will reclaim 13.8 hectors of land from Feeali. Scope of work further includes construction of 1606-meter revetment and 30-meter groyne for shore protection.

As per the agreement, MTCC is required to complete and handover this project valued at MVR 66.9 million, within a one year and three-month time frame.
