Applications open for 20 scholarships to train school principals

Education Ministry has opened applications for scholarships to train school principals. 

Education Ministry announced on Wednesday that applications are open for 20 scholarships for Master’s in School Administration/Education Management from Malaysia. 

Education Ministry said that the applicants selected will have their course fees covered, and receive an allowance equal to their salary, as well as a two-way ticket. 

In order to be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in teaching or education, and at least five years of experience as a teacher. 

If the applicant is someone who has taken out student loan from the Education Ministry in the past, he/she must be someone who has not defaulted and has been paying repaying the loan in accordance with the repayment schedule. 

Applicants who have completed a Master's Degree-level course in school administration or education management will be disqualified. 

Interested applicants have been instructed to email their application forms, along with other relevant documents to [email protected]. 

Applications will close at 02:00 pm on December 9.
