MACL donates MVR 216,000 to Fiyavathi

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has donated MVR 216,000 to Fiyavathi – a state-run children’s shelter located in suburban Hulhumale’.

The donation was presented by MACL’s Acting In-charge and Deputy Chief Officer Ibrahim Thoha to Fiyavathi’s CEO Zeena Qasim in a ceremony on Tuesday.

The donation was made by MACL as part of its CSR initiative.

According to MACL, the donation will finance the annual salary of a Psychology teacher the shelter is in need of.

MACL has also funded electricity and air conditioner repair services to Fiyavathi under its CSR initiative.

The latest donation comes after the company donated USD 3,965 to the Autism Association of Maldives in September.
