Signing of Hiyaa agreements on pause after HDC worker tests positive

An employee of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) involved in facilitating the signing of lease agreements for the Hiyaa Housing Project has tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the corporation to suspend the signing of agreements. 

HDC said that the signing of agreements by tenants scheduled from 10:00 am onwards this Wednesday will no longer take place. 

The signing of lease agreements for Hiyaa Housing Project began on July 13.  

HDC has yet to announce when it will resume the signing of agreements, stating that it will be resumed following consultation with Health Protection Agency (HPA).
