Man in Inguraidhoo breaches quarantine, vandalizes police station

A person quarantined at R. Inguraidhoo has vandalized the police station situated on the island.

According to the Police, a person who was undergoing quarantine on the island broke the quarantine rules – went outside and then onto vandalize the police station.

The Police identified the suspect on the case as a 30-year-old Maldivian man.

He has been issued an MVR 10,000 fine for breaking the quarantine rules.

The Police noted that they are further investigating the matter.
