2 arrested for stabbing teen in Feydhoo

Police have made two arrests in connection to the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Feydhoo district of Addu City last week.

The incident in question took place on Tuesday, June 29.

A police spokesperson told Sun that two suspects – a 19-year-old Maldivian male and a 22-year-old Maldivian male – were arrested under court order in connection to the case at approximately 11:00 pm on Thursday, July 1.

The latest violent crime involving a child victim comes after a 13-year-old boy was found murdered in the Maldivian capital last June.
