Parliament library opens with over 2,000 books

The Parliament has opened a library and digital archive containing over 2,000 books.

The library and digital archive was opened by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday morning, after he delivered his annual address at the inauguration of the Parliament for a new year.

According to the Parliament Speaker, former President Mohamed Nasheed, the Parliament’s library and digital archive has 2,133 books, 6,688 documents, and 2,214 files, along with over 1,500 videos and over 10,000 photos.

President Solih, after he opened the library, was given a tour.
