Emirates has once again ramped up its flight frequency to the Maldives.
Now, the airline will be operating four flights per day to the Maldives, according to Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
The airline will now travel to the Maldives with seat capacities of around 1,400 passengers. The airline will be utilizing Boeing 777 aircraft for the operations.
Emirates is the airline that carries the most number of passengers to the Maldives with a total of 33,769 passengers carried between July 15 and December 14. This is a total of 352 flight movements.

The airline was one of the first to commence operations to the Maldives when the borders of the Maldives reopened on July 15.
Currently, a total of 20 international airlines are operating to the Maldives. The Maldives has in total received 501,674 tourists in 2020 so far.
