Expatriate wounded after attack in Male' City

An expatriate has been injured after being attacked with a sharp object on the streets of Male' City. 

Police media officials confirmed that the expatriate was attacked in a small road named Fiyaathoshi Goalhi in the Maafannu ward.

The injured has been taken to the IGMH Hospital for treatment. The incident was reported around 22:05 last night. 

Sources have stated that the attacker is also an expatriate and had fled the location after the attack. 

Police are now looking into the matter.
