Emirates has ramped up flight frequency to the Maldives to meet the high demand for the tourist peak season.

The airline was among the first to operate to the Maldives after the nation reopened its borders in July. Tourist arrival numbers are increasing day by day, and Emirates has increased its operations to the Maldives to three flights per day from the previous two.

Tourism Ministry statistics currently show that the airline has carried 29,175 passengers to the Maldives since operations recommenced in July.

Apart from Emirates, Gulf Air, Etihad and Qatar Airways from the Middle-East are also operating to the Maldives.
