The third session of the parliament in 2020 has been extended to last until December 7, 2020.

The parliament moved to make the extension after 48 MPs voted for the move. Originally, the third session would conclude and the parliament would go into recess by the end of November.

Only one MP voted against the extension. The parliament is currently evaluating the proposed state budget for 2021. Currently, debates on the budget are ongoing.

The parliament would go into recess after passing the budget. The second term of the parliament earlier this year, was also extended due to important work.
