Man injured in Gan accident passes away

An individual injured in an accident that occurred in L. Gan on October 29 has passed away while receiving treatment.

Gan Council Member Ibrahim Auraaf said speaking with Sun that the accident happened when a motorcycle traveling at high speed on the link road between the Mukurimagu ward crashed into a parked vehicle. The injured is a 29-year old local male. 

“The individual had fractures in a number of places in the immediate aftermath of the accident. He was immediately taken to the Gan Regional Hospital for treatment and later transported to Male’ for further treatment.” Said Auraaf.

The individual reportedly passed away while receiving treatment at IGMH in Male’ City.
